Back to the Good O' Days

The weekend gone has really been a blast!

saturday started out a little unnerving coz i had to go work and i din know how long it was gona take. but thankfully, it din take too long and i could make it home in time to go for my 3pm appt at Next. and at the end of the haircut, the extra i have to pay compared to this other salon i'm also going to is justified.

after dat it was approx 2.5hrs to D-Hour.
and i was prob feeling the pre-party jitters coz i couldn't get anything done at home.
and i knew john n fel and some of the peeps were preparing the place.
so i left the house early to drop by and see if i could help in anyway
but got promptly chased out. so i went upstairs to house for a massage which i must say was pretty good. except dat it cost me like $128.

now after dat, the REAL fun began.
got my bag and changed into clothes i have not wore since 1994.
ok... make dat march 1995 - my catholic high uniform.
bought them last week w ben specially for my party.
my 30th birthday bash.

Trashie@Thirty was the theme.
30th birthday, 30 guests, 30th August.
unfortunately, we weren't as trashy as i had hoped coz everyone came looking nerdy but oh wells.
as jarrod puts it, they've shown me their love by showing up in their uniforms, even if it meant buying a new set, arriving in their uniforms after an office dinner, borrowing and wearing an oversized shirt.

so thank you, all of you!

many thanks to john and fel and mark n ben n jacq for getting the cake and doing up the deco of the place. it was absolutely fabulous and i wish i have fotos to show. (i will put up once i have them - either here or on fb.)

i'm juz glad the place managed to pull off the event coz i had my share of frustrations communicating w them.

great fun catching up w frens, all becoming like sec school kids again and dat includes me.
hahaha...
so we were like a bunch of underaged drinkers all downing glasses of wine, beer and champagne.

after the food (was kinda worried we wun have enough to eat, but we did in the end),
it was games time! had a quiz and played charades.
it was really a blast from the past.
jerms and i even played ji-gou-pa over hoegaarden, with the loser drinking.
we were pretty even until towards the bottom of the glass when i skali started to lose like shit :(

but it was good fun!

so thank you to my wonderful frens who have been a great part of my life, tolerating my ridiculous shit and being there for me.
