ROAR!!

It started out as a decent simple easy day.
all i needed to do was to go buy some dvd+/-r and den go back to the vessel and make 2 backup discs.

but the minute i left the hotel to get the discs, things went kinda downhill.
first, i couldn't find my dvds. all i wanted was a somewhat reputable brand name product.
but i couldn't find any until i went to my 3rd stop and it was philips (no offence to the brand but it's not exactly a brand u will get if u're getting blank dvds)

and den when i got to the vessel and got started w work.
it was supposed to be easy stuff... juz create the backup discs and all will be done.
but somehow i had itchy fingers and decided to test the created dvds by using them to restore the computer.
and halfway thru, an error occurred.
and the computer couldn't boot after dat.

so i had to restore the pc using an older, but working disk.
and tried to restore the system to its original state.
but the cd mirror used to reinstall the program was an older version n not the latest.
had hoped to finish the work by 3pm.
ended in the yard till 6.30pm.

so now i have to go back again tom at 7.30am. and get things done by 10 b4 the vessel sails out for another test. and upon returning to the hotel, i realized i had left my mouse on the vessel.
so i'm stuck w using the bloody lappie's mouse thingy which sucks big time when u're trying to play a game or surf the net.

i juz hope tom will be a better day... and work will go on smooth till thur.
den it's back to normal civilisation.
1 week in batam is killer enough.
