Drinking Away The Monday Blues...

Oh wait... i have no monday blues.
first day of week 2 of reservist saw me reaching camp at 5am and leaving at 12.30pm.
and of the 7 1/2hrs in camp, 5 were spent catching up on sleep.

so wad blues can i possibly have?

but it was indeed a nite i never tot i'd have.
wala's on a monday nite. it's not too bad really.
no crowd, good music.
watching the guitarist get more and more intoxicated as the sets get played.
and the reason why he was getting more and more intoxicated is bcoz it's his bday today
and so his frens and some of the ppl there bought him drinks... well, it was shots mainly.

so by the end of the 2nd set, he was slurring already.
a good nite must say.

i am in camp waiting for the guys to arrive so we can start our pre-flight checks.

Of Durians And Uno

Met up w ben, jacq n mark for delish durians at balestier rd.
following which we all adjorned to fel's place for uno!

i duno y... but for all the games we played i keep ending either last or 2nd last.
and only on the last game did i finish 2nd...

but dat isn't the main point.
the main point is how evil everyone can be!!
intercepting and sabo-ing each other...

now who would have tot uno is so much fun?
but the fact is, it IS!

so great nite of durians n uno.
now it's time to play my new game.

p.s. i have reason to believe i am an ultra-geek at heart.

The Lifestyle I Lead

must be kinda warpped right now...
coz for the past 2 nites, i've dreamt of work related events with non-related frens.

get me back to sg quick!!

I'm bored shitless in batam coz holiday inn is too ulu-fied for me to travel to town...
so i tot i'll juz write down a list of wat i hope to get for dat time of the yr.

- a star wars lego collectible. the millenium falcon, death star or the imperial star destroyer are
good choices.
- an analogue flash for my canon canonet QL-25.
- cash is always good.
- a gf... but dat cant b bought. hahaha... shit. if this is on the wishlist, den it means i'm kinda sick of
being single.
- all expense paid trip to dive in redang or anilao w ann and frens... but i think redang will still be
cheaper than anilao. coz anilao will need to include return air ticket to manila via SQ.

erm... dat's all for now...
i know it's all quite pricey... but hey!

My MP

Was juz watching the news.
my mp passed away...
and i never saw him in my 11yrs in bt batok.

he doesn't look v old so i guess he leaves behind a wife and kids who i guess shd b in their late teens and mid twenties?
to me, it's nothing good or bad... juz feel sad for his kids.

Got to know someone some time ago...
somehow we hit it off quite well from the get-go.

and for some reason, she's always on my mind.
and i've not had this feeling for anyone in the past 3 yrs.

not sure how this will work out or end...
but we'll see i guess...

I am officially broke, not legally bankrupt, juz broke.
i have never THIS broke since the day i signed 7 yrs of my life to the airforce.

damn the one who borrowed from me and is taking forever to return.

Christmas In July

Was out w the churchies for dinner today after mass.

and john is back too!! so he was at dinner as well...
after dinner, it was dessert at commonwealth food centre.

den we juz chilled at john's house...
and who would have known, christmas is early this yr!

john came back w pressies for all of us, a watch for peter and i,
shoes for the other guys, clutch bags for the girls.

john was at a aldo sale in melb... he was there for 3 straight days.
and bought like 16 pairs of shoes in all, tho not all were for him.
and hearing from him, the shoes were all gotten at worthwhile discounts.

and after all the pressies were sorted out, we were given a little treat of his life in adelaide.
he was showing us his fotos of his life there, the who's who and who's not.
who's the bitch and who's the slut,
who's the rich, cute-looking guy, and who's the rich, gay one.
who's the girl w the largest cup size, and who's second.
who's the prude and who's the whore.
who's the fav lecturer and who's the perv looking one...

it was such a gossip-filled story telling session!!
hahahaha...

and here i am, now back at home and blogging abt it coz it had to be recorded
for future references coz firstly, christmas doesn't always come in july.
and secondly, it's juz too excitingly gossipy to not keep a record.
hahaha...

Random Rants

Sitting in front of the lappie, i am now blogging while eating island creamery's strawberry margarita. it's quite yummy...
but i think it still cant beat daily scoop's lychee martini.

so daily scoop's still my fav.

today's quite an alrite day... went to the yard to do an inspection for a vessel.
and a supposedly 2hr stay turned out to be a 4hr one.
thereby resulting in a late lunch.

but it was alrite. another 3 more days... b4 the new telly arrives.
and i will start camping in my room :)

cant wait. hafta go get screws to mount the shelf i bought from ikea too...
but dat's gota happen on fri.

got a company outing tom to APB, home of tiger beer.
i'm undecided between juz playing bball w some of the colleauges or go for the tour of the brewery.
somehow i dun mind juz going to take a look at bottles running along the production line and getting filled w e golden juice...
but honestly, i dun like tiger. so it's not so "wow... i have to go",
unlike the heineken experience which i wanted to go for in amsterdam but couldn't coz they were closed for reno i think.

might b going to batam for work next monday for a couple of days.
but dat's not confirmed coz still waiting for the client to get back to me regarding the progress of the installation.

on a more random note, it's wed... mambo nite...
it's been so long since i've gone for it...
hahahaha...
the ppl are like SOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooo young.
