saturday was quite a day... like i said Davin and Mary-ann's wedding day...
went down to church at abt 9.30am, met up with the caterer and got the arrangements finalised.
the buffet line was not set up as initially planned due to some reasons.
so the layout of the tables for everyone to sit at had to be changed.
spent a little time freeting over what can be done, den with some help from nick, i managed to get everything set up with some pare time for me to get dressed in my suit ensemble...
since got opportunity to wear my suit, juz wear lor... otherwise get the suit and dun wear, quite wsate money rite?
so wedding went on very well... the choir did a fantastic job. so did jarrod who was cantoring.
slick move on friggy's part to kill some time for his sermon by asking the parents for advice on a good and blissful marriage. hehe...
everything went on as planned and i was home taking a short nap before heading down to merchant court for the wedding dinner. met up with jarrod(AGAIN!!), friggy and cheryl to go down together. managed to get a lot. but heard from some frens dat they were informed rather rudely by the hotel staff that the carpark is full and they had to find alternative parking at the other buildings nearby.
so dinner went on... food was quite good. service was alrite only.
but it was an auntie who served us so shan't be mean... will be understanding.
ppl who know me will know of my need for impeccable service at f&b outlets.
at the end of the wedding, as we were walking out, jarrod(AGAIN!! looks like i've got to dis-associate myself w him for a while before ppl start to think we're a couple or something) was like telling us what davin's chinese name was, coz we were kind of wondering before the dinner.
jarrod: so his name is davin chor han ping.
me: huh? davin chor humping?
jarrod: NO LA!! HAN PING.
me: ohhh.... oops.
anyway... i found out dat during the mass in the morning, the couple had expressed their plans to have 4 kids.
2 for the religious order, 2 for themselves. so the whole nite after the dinner, we were telling them to dun bother with the talking and thanking and juz get started on no. 1 of 4.
so dat was roughly it... wat a day... another fren getting married. that makes it 3 from church dis year.
let's not count the frens from work.. i've lost count already.
went for my diving theory lesson last nite. not bad.. ez stuff since i've read the notes already.
going for my first pool lesson tonite... YAY!! but gota swim 200m (hich i can do) and thread water fro 10mins (which i can do abt 15 years ago) i hope i survive the threading water bit...
so wish me lots of luck that i'll live ot see tom... hahaha.
