Busy Day

Had a busy day to day...

went for like 3 job presentations with AXA, Financial Alliance and Oilpods.com.
apparently i'm in the final round of selection for AXA.
now they're pushing for me to take up the required CMFAS papers to attain the necessary licence to be a financial advisor. den they'll pay the fees for the papers if i pass them all the first time. den only need to really work for them for only 6 months.

the financial alliance presentation was alrite... but i wasn't too impressed.

the oilpods one was pretty good. the business model is good. but where to find 8 ppl every month who have about at lest $10k to invest? CPF still can la... but cash ? hmmm... dat's a prob...
guess will have to find out more... soon i hope...

suddenly, the career as a financial planner seems pretty attractive. but dun think i wana work for a specific insurance company... think i'd rather work in a independent firm. den can recommend cliets funds that really work in their favour.

think now is a good time to really pia. no gf, no house to worry abt, no wedding... juz pia.
mayb pia for a good 5 years plus... hopefully earn enough to live fairly well... drive my dream car.
can give parents money for their expenses.

i'll juz blog abit abt yesterday...

went to meet a fren who's at IPP, another independent financial advisory/planning firm, to find out more abt working there.

den went to FTC to find out abt their CFA and ACCA programs. was informed dat there was a CFA preview dat evening. tot i'll go for it, so went down to plaza sing to catch a movie meantime... coz left the school at abt 3, preview was at 7.30pm.

caught sin city... show wasn't too bad... bits of nudity here and there... juz tits mainly.
pretty cool.. coz the movie is mostly in b&w except for some bits that had color.
eg. opening scene was b&w had josh harnett talking to some woman... duno who...
she was wearing a red dress and red lipstick... dat's all the color there was for dat scene.

knew it was r(a) but wasn't expecting any nudity, den when i saw dat there was, den i realized why it's r(a),
den when i saw jessica alba, i tot she'll end up stripping too coz she was acting as a stripper...
but no such luck... too bad guys... no alba boobies for u..

so anyway... enough of dat...

so went for the cfa preview, was mainly abt wat the program was abt and wat packages ftc has to help students clear the papers. and apparently they have a very good track record. the school has got a 80% global pass rate. while the percentage of candidates who pass the first level is only abt 34-36%. so guess the bulk of those who pass are from ftc.

so yeah... den went home lor...

i've not been home before 5pm for the past 2 days liao...
oh well... busy looking for job mah !!
